We are partnering with a forward-thinking organization to identify a Product Manager who will play a key role in expanding and delivering modern learning and assessment solutions. This role is designed for a product leader who thrives in collaborative, externally facing environments and enjoys shaping products alongside customers and partners.
This role is an external-facing product management role focused on expanding learning and assessment offerings through partnerships and customer collaboration. You will work directly with external organizations to shape, co-develop, and deliver learning and assessment solutions that complement internal capabilities and accelerate time to market.
This is not a contract-management or account role. You will operate as a product manager in partner environments, helping define what gets built, how it gets built, and how it integrates into the broader ecosystem.
What You'll Do:
- Evaluate build-versus-buy decisions for learning content, assessments, and enabling technology
- Identify, assess, and engage external partners across EdTech, assessment, and content providers
- Lead co-design and pilot efforts with customers and partners from concept through launch
- Translate internal learning, assessment, and UX standards into clear partner requirements
- Ensure externally developed products align with Evidence-Centered Design and quality expectations
- Collaborate with legal, procurement, and finance to support partnership structures and execution
- Guide integration of partner solutions into internal platforms and delivery systems
- Assess partnership performance and recommend continuation, iteration, or exit decisions
- Monitor market trends and emerging approaches in skills assessment and AI-enabled learning
Internal vs External Focus
- Primary focus is external partners, customers, and co-development relationships
- Regular weekly interaction with customers, content partners, and vendors
- Success is measured by partner outcomes, adoption, and speed to market
What You'll Have:
- 3–6 years of experience in product management, partnerships, or solution ownership in education or learning technology
- Experience working directly with customers or partners in co-development or implementation contexts
- Strong product judgment and ability to balance speed, quality, and scalability
- Comfort operating in ambiguous environments and shaping structure where needed
- Enough fluency in learning and assessment to challenge partners and protect product standards
