Our client is a high-performing international law firm known for handling complex, high-profile matters across litigation, regulatory affairs, and corporate transactions. The firm is celebrated for its commitment to client service, diversity, and pro bono excellence — and now it’s growing its Billing & Revenue Operations team to support continued global expansion.
We’re seeking experienced Billing Coordinators who thrive in fast-paced, high-accuracy environments. You’ll work directly with partners, clients, and firm leadership to manage sophisticated billing arrangements, ensure compliance with client requirements, and help shape a best-in-class billing function.
This is an exciting chance to join one of the world’s most respected firms — where your expertise in billing systems, client service, and problem-solving truly makes a difference.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage billing and invoicing for a portfolio of attorneys and clients, including complex fee structures and alternative billing arrangements.
- Review, prepare, and finalize invoices in alignment with client billing guidelines and firm policies.
- Monitor accounts, analyze unbilled time, and ensure timely resolution of outstanding balances.
- Partner with attorneys, pricing teams, and finance leadership to deliver accurate and transparent billing.
- Support e-billing submissions through industry platforms such as Legal Tracker, CounselLink, and Tymetrix 360.
- Generate reports and analyses using Excel and financial software to track billing trends and provide insights.
- Maintain client data integrity, perform reconciliations, and assist in month-end close procedures.
- Contribute to process improvements and special projects that enhance operational efficiency.
What You’ll Bring:
- 3+ years of billing, accounting, or finance experience within a law firm or professional-services environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong proficiency with Elite 3E or similar legal accounting systems.
- Working knowledge of major e-billing tools (e.g., Legal Tracker, CounselLink, Tymetrix 360) and vendor management.
- Excellent Excel skills — comfortable building reconciliations, summaries, and custom reports.
- Proven ability to handle confidential information and interact professionally with clients and partners.
- Meticulous attention to detail, organization, and follow-through under tight deadlines.
- A proactive, service-oriented approach — the confidence to navigate ambiguity and the curiosity to keep learning.
Why This Role Is Exciting:
This is more than a back-office function — it’s a front-line role supporting the financial heartbeat of one of the legal world’s elite firms.
You’ll gain visibility with firm leadership, collaborate directly with partners and major clients, and be part of a dynamic, inclusive finance team that values accuracy, collaboration, and innovation.
If you’re ready to join a firm that truly invests in its people and where precision meets purpose, we’d love to connect.
