District Partners has been retained by a global law firm to identify a ServiceNow Platform Operations Manager to lead and elevate the firm’s enterprise ServiceNow environment. This newly created position combines deep hands-on technical work with leadership of a small, high-performing engineering team responsible for global platform stability, automation, and ongoing enhancement.
This is a highly visible role for a ServiceNow professional who enjoys being deeply involved in the architecture, configuration, and delivery of solutions—while also providing direction, mentorship, and strategic input. The Manager will ensure the platform operates securely and efficiently across a global footprint, delivering measurable value to both IT and business stakeholders. Compensation for this role is up to $160K (potentially flexible based on skills), and the firm is not open to sponsorship; candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Green Card holders.
This position is remote but requires some on-site presence for meetings. Requires residency within commuting distance of one of the following offices: Atlanta, Austin, Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, Minneapolis, New York, Palo Alto, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Raleigh, Reston, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, Short Hills, Washington DC, or Wilmington.
What You’ll Do:
- Own the full lifecycle of the ServiceNow platform—architecture, design, development, and operations.
- Lead and mentor a team of ServiceNow engineers, fostering collaboration, technical growth, and operational discipline.
- Oversee performance, integrations, and platform upgrades with a focus on reliability, scalability, and security.
- Architect and implement solutions across ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, and custom applications.
- Develop and maintain automation workflows, scripts, and integration APIs.
- Collaborate with firm leadership to define the ServiceNow roadmap and align initiatives with strategic objectives.
- Manage vendors and participate in on-call rotation to ensure uninterrupted global operations.
- Drive continuous improvement through automation, governance, and adoption of emerging ServiceNow capabilities.
What You’ll Bring:
- 7+ years of hands-on ServiceNow experience across design, configuration, and operations.
- 3+ years leading or managing small ServiceNow engineering teams.
- Current ServiceNow certifications (Administrator, Architect, or Implementation Specialist).
- Deep technical expertise in ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, scripting, API integration, and workflow automation.
- Proven experience implementing and optimizing enterprise-scale ServiceNow environments.
- Strong understanding of Agile delivery, platform governance, and change management.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to partner effectively across technical and business teams.
- Comfortable managing an on-call rotation in a 24/7 enterprise environment.
