Position: Senior Compensation Analyst

Reports To: Chief Human Resources Officer & Chief Operating Officer


District Partners has teamed up with a leading, nationally recognized wealth management firm to identify an exceptional Senior Compensation Analyst. In this role, you’ll shape and enhance a comprehensive total rewards framework—think performance‑based bonus programs, commission tracking, LTIP (long‑term incentive plan) design, and more. You’ll work closely with HR Business Partners and executive leadership to deliver data‑driven compensation strategies that support rapid growth (10–15 regional RIA acquisitions each year) and help integrate acquired firms’ pay structures into a unified model.


Responsibilities:

  • Data & Analytics: Build and maintain dashboards, analyses, and reports that measure program effectiveness and inform strategic decisions.
  • Advisory: Serve as the go‑to expert for job evaluations, pay‑equity reviews, and day‑to‑day compensation inquiries.
  • Program Administration: Lead annual merit and bonus cycles end‑to‑end—from design and testing through communications, training, and system configuration.
  • Incentive Management: Oversee quarterly performance‑based incentive programs for 500+ employees; partner with external vendors to calculate, validate, and distribute payments.
  • Market Benchmarking: Conduct competitive survey research—collect, analyze, and summarize data with clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement efficiencies across compensation processes and systems.
  • Acquisition Integration: Drive compensation integration for newly acquired firms, ensuring a smooth transition into the firm’s total rewards architecture.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Collaborate with Legal and Compliance to ensure all programs, disclosures, and filings (proxy statements, Section 16, 10‑K/DEF 14A) meet SEC requirements.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, HR, or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of progressive compensation experience in a fast‑paced financial services environment
  • Advanced Excel skills (complex models, macros, pivot tables)
  • Proficiency with HCM systems and market‑pricing tools (Workday and MarketPay experience preferred)
  • CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) certification a plus
