In this role, you will play a crucial role as a key business partner to senior leadership. The financial analyst will develop monthly forecasts and annual budgets, perform operating plan and forecast variance analysis, and create insightful reporting that will drive timely business decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, a deep understanding of SaaS metrics, intellectual curiosity and the ability to influence business leaders through data-driven recommendations.
This is a full-time, exempt, remote position. We are only able to consider candidates residing in one of the states listed below. The starting salary is $80,000, with eligibility for a performance-based bonus.
As a Financial Analyst, you will:
- Establish strong business partnerships with other functions throughout the organization.
- Support the annual budgeting, long-range planning, and weekly forecast processes.
- Support the creation and maintenance of monthly financial forecasts and annual budgets.
- Analyze financial data to identify opportunities for revenue growth/cost efficiency and perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis.
- Analyze and track SaaS-specific financial metrics (ARR, Churn, CAC, etc.) financial performance and provide actionable recommendations to senior leadership
- Provide ongoing financial reporting to business partners and help them connect resourcing to business outcomes.
- Develop, implement, maintain effective financial models and reports to support financial planning and analysis including revenues, expenses, headcount, and other related areas as needed.
- Build robust financial models to evaluate strategic priorities, return on investment (ROI), and other ad-hoc projects
You should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in [KL1] Business Finance, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, or private equity
- Understanding of SaaS business models and key financial metrics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to influence without authority in a matrixed organization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to pull / manipulate data
- SQL and Power BI skills a plus but not required
