Summary
The Senior Billing Manager oversees the Client Accounts team, ensuring efficient billing operations, staff training, and process improvements. This role involves analyzing workflows, optimizing efficiency, and leading system enhancements.
Location
Remote, with occasional office visits as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily billing operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Monitor team performance and implement efficiency improvements.
- Develop and deliver training on billing procedures and policies.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching to staff.
- Resolve billing issues and support attorneys with invoice processing.
- Lead and support billing-related projects.
- Stay informed on industry best practices and implement process improvements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize billing operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years managing a billing/invoicing team.
- Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.
- 8+ years in billing operations within a law firm or professional services setting.
- Proficiency in Elite and/or Aderant billing systems, e-billing applications, and Excel.
