District Partners has been retained by a market leader in marine construction and infrastructure services to recruit four Site Safety & Health Officers (SSHO). This is a field-based travel role with a 17 days on / 11 days off rotation, offering exposure to complex, high-profile projects nationwide.
The SSHO plays a central role in ensuring safe project execution by guiding site leadership and project teams in best-in-class safety practices. This role is critical to fostering the IIF culture, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and protecting the wellbeing of every worker on site.

What You'll Do:
- Implement and monitor project site safety, health, and environmental programs.
- Guide Project Management Teams in embedding an IIF safety culture.
- Conduct hazard assessments, safety audits, and new-hire orientations.
- Provide safety training and prepare weekly safety reports.
- Liaise with Division Safety, Health & Environmental Managers as needed.
What You'll Have:
- 5+ years of construction safety experience (construction, building, or Oil & Gas).
- OSHA 30-hour certification required; EM385-1-1/USACE knowledge preferred.
- High school diploma required; Bachelor’s in Safety Management/Engineering/Construction preferred.
- Valid driver’s license; ability to obtain TWIC and Passport.
- Strong communication skills and computer proficiency.
- Willingness to work a 17/11 rotation schedule nationwide.
Preferred Certifications (for higher salary consideration):
- CHST, OSHA Fall Protection, OSHA Confined Space, OSHA Respiratory, LOTO, Electrical Safety, Accident Investigation, First Aid/CPR.
