What You'll Do:
- Direct and oversee all payroll operations across North America, covering thousands of employees in multiple jurisdictions
- Ensure ongoing compliance with federal, state, and international payroll regulations
- Drive process optimization and automation initiatives to increase accuracy and efficiency
- Lead system upgrades, integrations, and reporting to provide executive-level insight into payroll operations
- Partner with HR, Finance, and IT to streamline processes and ensure seamless end-to-end employee experience
- Build and mentor a high-performing payroll team capable of scaling with the business
Preferred Background:
- Proven track record leading multi-state payroll operations; cross-border experience a plus
- Deep knowledge of payroll compliance, regulations, and reporting requirements
- Experience with payroll system implementations, upgrades, and integrations
- Strong leadership presence, with the ability to collaborate across executive and operational teams
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into strategy
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field preferred; CPP certification highly desirable
