A global professional education and credentialing organization is investing in its finance technology stack after a period of rapid growth and rising operational complexity. The company runs a high-volume, subscription-driven business with multiple revenue streams, international customers, and a finance team juggling constant intake across four NetSuite environments.

They’re looking for a senior NetSuite Solutions Consultant who can bring stability, clarity, and stronger financial workflow discipline. This role sits at the center of Finance, Admins, and Dev/QA, making sure day-to-day operations run smoothly while also tightening Order-to-Cash and strengthening Procure-to-Pay.

What You'll Do:

• Own daily NetSuite BAU support, including intake, prioritization, troubleshooting, and backlog management.
• Oversee configuration, workflow logic, saved searches, and cross-environment maintenance across four instances.
• Lead a major cleanup initiative to streamline forms, reduce field congestion, and eliminate outdated or unnecessary customizations.
• Improve core Order-to-Cash workflows — revenue recognition, billing, refund logic, approvals, and handoffs.
• Strengthen Procure-to-Pay by redesigning approval flows, removing bottlenecks, and reducing manual workarounds.
• Translate Finance requirements into actionable specs for Dev/QA and guide solutions through to deployment.
• Build documentation, establish operating procedures, and help Admins work with clearer structure and predictable capacity.
• Advise on “native first” approaches that reduce technical debt and simplify the overall ecosystem.

Tech Environment:

NetSuite (heavy customization, four environments), BigCommerce, Adyen, Sovos, Kyriba, Concur, CLX, a custom PDM platform, and Jira Service Desk.

Representative Projects:

• Fixing a broken $0 sales-order refund workflow tied to revenue-recognition merges.
• Redesigning PO-change approvals using a cleaner, reversible “new amount” logic.
• Replacing complex manual journal entries with standard deposit workflows.
• Removing duplicative fields, outdated logic, and noise across environments.

What You'll Have:

• Senior-level functional NetSuite expertise with strong configuration and workflow depth.
• Hands-on experience improving Order-to-Cash processes; this is a core requirement.
• Solid exposure to Procure-to-Pay and an ability to diagnose and correct workflow issues.
• Ability to read SuiteScript and direct developers, even if you’re not writing scripts.
• Experience working in complex, multi-environment setups with shifting business priorities.
• Clear communicator who can work effectively with finance, technical teams, and leadership.
