District Partners is engaged on this exclusive search for a Senior Desktop and Endpoint Engineer. A prominent international firm that has recently launched a Center of Excellence with a multimillion-dollar budget dedicated to digital transformation is seeking to fill this position to play a key role in modernizing enterprise technology, driving global deployments across Windows 365, Azure Virtual Desktop, and other enterprise platforms. This is a chance to combine technical depth with a service-first mindset in a high-impact environment.


You’ll take ownership of desktop and endpoint engineering across both physical and virtual environments, including Windows 365 and Azure Virtual Desktop. You’ll partner with application owners, help desk, training, security, and network engineering teams to build, maintain, and optimize desktop images and ensure seamless application integrations. The right candidate combines strong technical skills with a customer-first approach and thrives in a global enterprise.



What You'll Do:

  • Design, develop, and maintain tools and systems for deploying desktop and endpoint images.
  • Lead systems and applications integration efforts across the enterprise.
  • Build and maintain software deployment packages and scripts for consistent, timely rollouts.
  • Train colleagues on operating system integrations, application deployments, and mobile device management (MDM).
  • Create and execute test scripts and test plans for enterprise applications.
  • Manage release processes and conduct audits for licensing compliance.
  • Stay current with emerging tools and best practices.
  • Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.


Required Experience:

  • 5+ years working across multiple Windows desktop operating systems, application analysis, and virtualized applications.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, MECM, Intune, iManage, and related enterprise technologies.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or VBScript.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems; familiarity with macOS management a plus.
  • Experience with enterprise deployment and MDM tools (e.g., Intune, SCCM, JAMF, PatchMyPC).
  • Ability to work extended hours/weekends as needed.


Preferred Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Strong documentation and technical writing skills.
  • Prior professional services or large enterprise experience.


📍 Location: Candidates must be based in one of the following metro areas: San Francisco, Santa Monica, Palo Alto, Seattle, or San Diego.

💰Compensation: The expected salary range is $125,000 – $190,000, depending on experience, skillset, and location.
