District Partners has been retained by a highly respected national wealth management firm to identify a Senior Client Service Specialist to join its growing Wealth Management team. The individual in this role will serve as a critical partner to Wealth Advisors, ensuring seamless delivery of client service, operational excellence, and account management across a sophisticated client base. What You'll Do:
Client Relationship & Service Delivery
- Serve as a senior member of the Wealth Management client service team, ensuring the highest level of service delivery for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients
- Act as a primary operational partner to Wealth Advisors, supporting client relationships through proactive service and account management
- Manage and resolve complex client service requests across multiple custodians, account structures, and investment vehicles
- Maintain a deep understanding of client relationships, financial structures, and investment portfolios to ensure exceptional service and responsiveness
- Generate client correspondence and documentation related to account servicing, onboarding, and ongoing client requests
Client Onboarding & Account Management
- Lead the onboarding process for new client relationships, including account setup, documentation, and coordination with custodians and internal teams
- Prepare and process key client documentation including advisory agreements, investment policy statements, and financial planning engagement documents
- Manage ongoing account maintenance activities including transfers, address changes, account openings and closings, and account updates
- Structure and verify complex money movements across client accounts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to internal controls
Reporting, Billing & Documentation
- Oversee client reporting processes, including performance reporting, reconciliation of statements, and manual reporting adjustments when necessary
- Partner with Wealth Advisors to establish and maintain complex client billing arrangements
- Prepare and process quarterly and ad-hoc reporting for clients and their advisors, accountants, and other professional partners
- Ensure all client files and documentation meet firm compliance standards and proactively remediate any documentation gaps
Operational Coordination
- Work closely with operations and portfolio management teams to ensure client accounts are properly structured and maintained
- Support senior team members with client trading activity and account servicing where needed
- Prepare and process client wire transfers and other transactional requests
Leadership & Team Development
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior client service professionals
- Support onboarding and training of new team members across the client service organization
- Identify opportunities to develop and implement best practices across the client service team
- Lead or participate in operational and service improvement projects across the firm
What You'll Have:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years of client service experience within wealth management, private banking, brokerage, or a similar financial services environment
- Proven experience supporting high-net-worth or ultra-high-net-worth clients with complex financial structures
- Strong knowledge of investment accounts, portfolio structures, and wealth management operations
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and train junior client service professionals
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe
- Experience working with CRM systems and client reporting platforms
