Financial Analyst – Remote – Renewables – Contract

Are you a skilled Financial Analyst with a passion for financial modelling and the environment? Dahlia Recruitment Renewables are urgently seeing a strong Financial Analyst for a 3- 4 month contract day rate DOE

The role focuses on financial modelling, requiring a candidate adept at interpreting complex data and translating it into actionable insights. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders. Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills are essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain financial models to support business decisions.

- Analyse financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations.

- Support Senior Management on M&A activities

- Provide Ad hoc detailed reports and detailed analysis and DD to support M&A, new deals

- Prepare financial presentations for clients and internal stakeholders

- Prepare detailed financial reports and summaries for management review.

- Conduct profitability analysis and financial forecasting.

- Evaluate investment opportunities and risk assessments.

- Monitor financial performance against key performance indicators (KPIs).

- Collaborate with various departments to gather necessary information for accurate modelling.

- Present findings to senior management and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

- Continuously seek ways to improve existing financial models and processes.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Financial Qualification ideally ACCA or ACA

- Any experience of Energy, Renewables or working for a financial consultancy / start up business would be highly advantageous

- 3 years + in a similar role

- Strong communications skills

- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships effectively

- Problem-solving mindset and the ability to adapt to new challenges

- Collaboration and teamwork skills

- Attention to detail and accuracy is essential
