Dahlia recruitment Renewables are partnered with a rapidly growing renewables business urgently recruiting for a Leak Surveyor

to ensure the integrity and safety of natural gas distribution networks by conducting systematic leak detection surveys using specialised equipment and techniques. The Leak Surveyor plays a critical role in identifying and reporting gas leaks to prevent hazards, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain public safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine and emergency leak surveys across gas mains, services, and associated infrastructure.
• Operate and maintain leak detection equipment.
• Accurately record and report leak locations, severity, and other relevant data using digital mapping and reporting tools.
• Collaborate with repair crews and engineers to prioritise and resolve identified leaks.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company procedures.
• Perform risk assessments and adhere to safety protocols while working in public and private environments.
• Maintain detailed records of survey activities for audit and regulatory purposes.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams, contractors, and occasionally the public regarding survey activities.
• Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives.

 Qualifications & Experience:

• NEN qualified
• Experience in gas network operations or leak detection preferred.
• Knowledge of gas distribution systems and leak detection technologies.
• Familiarity with GIS mapping tools and handheld survey devices.
• Valid driving licence.

Working Conditions:
