Are you an experienced Superintendent in the commercial roofing industry?

The Externals Group are looking for a Superintendent in Norfolk to join a well-established and growing commercial roofing & building envelope contractor, who specialize in delivering high-quality roofing solutions to commercial properties nationwide. You will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all on-site activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standard.

A Day in the Life:

• Oversee daily operations on multiple roofing projects, ensuring schedules and budgets are maintained.
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and crews to drive progress.
• Enforce on-site safety standards and compliance with company policies.
• Manage materials, equipment deliveries, and site logistics.
• Resolve on-site challenges quickly to keep work moving.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to crews for top-quality results.

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years’ experience as a Superintendent (or similar).
• Strong background in commercial roofing, with expertise in Single Ply, Asphalt, Hot & Cold Applied, and Metal Roofing systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills to keep projects running smoothly.
