Our client, a respected non‑profit with charity and IPC status under the National Council of Social Services, located at Hougang, is dedicated to enriching the lives of seniors through active ageing programmes, volunteerism, and lifelong learning.
Role Description
The Programme Executive will support the active ageing centre by planning and delivering programmes for seniors, support centre operations, strengthening the volunteer community, and build partnerships with grassroots and community stakeholders. Reporting directly to the Centre Manager, the role calls for initiative, collaboration, and a commitment to enriching lives.
Salary Range
$2,500 - $2,700 per month
Responsibilities
1. Active Ageing Programmes
- Design and deliver programmes that promote seniors’ physical, cognitive, and social wellbeing.
- Partner with community organisations and volunteers to expand outreach and engagement.
- Monitor effectiveness through feedback and data, incorporating innovative initiatives.
2. Operations Support
- Ensure safe, smooth, and compliant implementation of centre activities.
- Manage registrations, attendance records and relevant data to track programme impact.
- Align programmes with internal policies, funding requirements, and regulations.
3. Volunteer Management Support
- Recruit, onboard, and train volunteers to align with programme needs and values.
- Coordinate appreciation initiatives to sustain long-term commitment.
- Strengthen volunteer management processes to improve retention and pipeline health.
4. Community Engagement & Partnerships
- Build partnerships with grassroots groups, government agencies, and community stakeholders.
- Represent the organisation at community events and inter-agency platforms.
Requirements
We are looking for an individual with both heart and skill — someone who combines a passion for service with professional competence.
1. Qualifications & Experience
- Prior experience in programme coordination or community services is preferred.
- Experience working with elderly populations and/or volunteers will be an advantage.
- Demonstrate strong programme management, planning, coordination, and execution capabilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and data management.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Able to communicate effectively in English and Mandarin to engage beneficiaries; knowledge of Chinese dialects or Malay will be an advantage.
