Student Care Teacher (Full-Time / Part-Time / Contract)
Our client, Brighton Connection is a non-profit Social Service Agency (SSA) and registered charity, recognised as an Institution of Public Character (IPC) since 2017, with a mission to make a meaningful difference in Singapore heartlands through holistic community support and empowerment programmes.
The agency focuses on vulnerable and underserved groups within neighbourhoods — particularly:
- Children and students, through academic support and nurturing environments.
- Youths, via mentoring and life-skills development.
- Families, through relationship building and support services.
- Seniors, with outreach and programmes to reduce isolation and promote purposeful living.
They are looking for passionate and caring Student Care Teachers who love working with children and are committed to nurturing both academic growth and character development.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Centre’s daily operations to provide quality after-school care for students from Primary 1 to Secondary 2
- Guide and assist students in their schoolwork, including English, Mathematics, Science, Chinese, and other relevant subjects
- Prepare teaching resources and learning materials when required
- Work closely with the Centre Manager and volunteers to inculcate positive values and promote character development
- Maintain a clean, hygienic, and orderly learning environment
- Comply with procedures and requirements prescribed by relevant authorities
- Carry out other duties as assigned by the Centre Manager, Director, or Management
Requirements
- Minimum N-Level or O-Level pass
- Love working with children and have patience and a caring attitude
- Able to work well in a team and communicate effectively
- Responsible, committed, and willing to learn
- Prior experience working with children (student care, childcare, tuition, enrichment, volunteering, etc.) is an added advantage
Location: Student Care Centre (102 Simei Street 1)
Working Hours: Daily (After-school hours)
Salary: $2,000 – $2,800 (Negotiable, based on experience)
Possible Employment Types: Full-Time, Part-Time (130pm - 7pm), Contract (flexible arrangements available)
