City Sprouts is currently hiring for a Programme Coordinator position to plan, coordinate, and deliver a wide range of engaging programmes and events. Please indicate which role they are applying for in their application.

Position 2: Programme Coordinator (VIVITA Singapore) 

Job Summary:

They are looking for an engaging Coordinator to run programs in maker, creative, and design education. The ideal candidate is passionate about nurturing children and youth, helping them become self-directed learners who are confident in their creativity and critical thinking.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct engaging programs for students, educators, and the general public, ranging from single-day workshops to multi-session maker courses.
  • Facilitate and playfully mentor children and youth as they navigate their personal projects and creative initiatives.
  • Plan and develop new maker, design, and creative programs tailored for children, schools, and corporate partners.
  • Oversee the planning, logistics, and execution of both on-site and off-site activations, including events, open days, and fairs.


Role-Specific Requirements:

  • Experience with creative and maker skills (e.g., 3D printing, laser cutting, robotics, coding, electronics, digital design, fashion, or upcycling crafts).
  • Strong interest in alternative education methods and maker-education frameworks.
  • Highly comfortable and outgoing when working with people, accompanied by a genuine passion for nurturing children and youth.
  • Good working knowledge of developing, implementing, and optimizing workshops, procedures, and educational systems.


General Requirements

  • Strong project management, multitasking, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, alongside strong interpersonal abilities; comfortable engaging with groups of all ages and backgrounds. 
  • A client-centric mindset paired with solid problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • A highly collaborative team player who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and get hands-on.
  • Flexibility to work on days that fall on weekends, evenings, and public holidays on a regular basis.
  • Bonus: Ability to start on short notice will be a significant advantage.
