[Non-Profit] Programme Executive

Job Purpose

The Programme Executive supports the planning, coordination, and delivery of programmes for seniors, ensuring activities are well-run, engaging, and responsive to seniors’ needs. This role works closely with seniors, volunteers, and internal teams to create a positive and supportive experience at the non-profit's centres and programmes.


This is a hands-on, people-facing role suited for individuals who enjoy service delivery, coordination, and working directly with seniors.


Key Responsibilities:

Programme Operations & Delivery

  • Support the planning, coordination, and execution of programmes and activities for seniors
  • Ensure programmes run smoothly, safely, and according to schedule
  • Assist with logistics, materials preparation, attendance tracking, and post-programme follow-up
  • Monitor seniors’ participation and wellbeing during activities, and flag any concerns appropriately

Engagement with Seniors

  • Build rapport with seniors and create a welcoming, respectful environment
  • Engage seniors during programmes and encourage participation
  • Be attentive to seniors’ needs, preferences, and limitations, especially those with health or mobility considerations

Volunteer & Stakeholder Support

  • Assist in coordinating volunteers and facilitators for programmes
  • Provide on-the-ground support to volunteers and external partners during activities
  • Communicate programme details clearly to seniors, volunteers, and colleagues

Administrative & Reporting Support

  • Maintain accurate programme records and documentation
  • Support basic reporting and data collection required for programme tracking or funding purposes
  • Assist with ad-hoc administrative tasks related to programme operations


Requirements:

Experience & Background

  • Diploma or Degree in any discipline
  • Customer service, operations, or programme coordination experience preferred
  • Experience in healthcare, eldercare, social services, or community settings is an advantage
  • Prior experience working with elderly or seniors is strongly preferred

Skills & Attributes

  • Warm, patient, and service-oriented
  • Comfortable interacting with seniors from diverse backgrounds
  • Organised and able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team


Other Requirements:

  • Willingness to work some evenings or weekends depending on programme needs
  • Comfortable working on-site at centres or community locations
