JMAC Group is hiring reliable and detail-oriented Gate Guards for a high-security nighttime project at a controlled airfield. If you're vigilant, professional, and committed to enforcing strict access protocols, we want you on our team.
Summary:
This temporary 3-month position involves verifying the ID of every driver and passenger entering the airfield gate—without exception, including individuals re-entering multiple times throughout the same day. Gate Guards play a vital role in protecting high-value infrastructure and enforcing site access compliance in aviation-related work zones.
Responsibilities:
- Physically inspect and verify the condition of all ID badges
- Compare photo IDs to individuals and validate expiration dates
- Inspect all passengers and vehicles before granting gate access
- Recheck IDs on repeat entries within the same shift
- Ensure vehicles meet client-specific requirements for airfield entry
- Attend daily and monthly safety briefings
- Assist labor crews during setup, cleanup, and other assigned tasks
- Remain alert while working outdoors in varying conditions
- Stand for extended durations while maintaining situational awareness
- Follow JMAC Group’s safety protocols and site-specific access policies
- Work flexible schedules with limited breaks and irregular hours
Requirements:
- Must be dependable, professional, and detail-oriented
- Reliable transportation to airfield site is required
- Background screening is mandatory prior to employment
- Ability to work night shifts and overtime
- Capable of working outdoors and standing for long hours
Work Schedule:
- 8, 10, or 12-hour night shifts
- Overtime expected when required
- On-site presence only
- Temporary project duration: 3 months
