Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tax Manager to join our dynamic tax team. This is a key leadership position offering the opportunity to manage sophisticated tax engagements for high-net-worth individuals, S-corporations, real estate partnerships, and privately held companies.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and review complex federal and state tax returns, including individual (1040), S-Corp, partnership, and trust returns.
- Provide high-level tax planning and consulting to clients, particularly closely held businesses and HNWIs.
- Research complex tax matters and deliver clear, actionable guidance.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and trust.
- Manage IRS and state tax authority correspondence and resolution.
- Mentor and supervise junior tax staff, supporting training and performance growth.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with audit and advisory teams to ensure comprehensive client service.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for tax planning and business development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; Master’s in Taxation is a plus.
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or EA (Enrolled Agent) designation required.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in tax, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial or review role.
- Strong technical knowledge in tax compliance and planning for S-Corps, partnerships, and HNWIs.
- Experience with real estate entities and investment partnerships highly preferred.
- Proficiency in tax software such as CCH ProSystem fx, Engagement, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, lead projects, and develop team members.
- A collaborative mindset with the drive to contribute to firm growth and client success.
