£50,000 – £60,000 + benefits
Permanent
We’re working with a growing organisation investing heavily in its data platform, with Microsoft Fabric at the centre. They’ve made the initial move but now need someone who has done this properly before – implementing Fabric and integrating multiple systems into a clean, scalable data estate.
This is a hands-on role with real influence over how data is structured, integrated, and used across the business.
The Role
You’ll take ownership of integrating core business systems into a Fabric-led environment, building out reliable, scalable data pipelines and improving how data flows across the organisation.
You’ll work closely with stakeholders across IT and the business, shaping how systems connect and ensuring data is accessible, governed, and fit for reporting and analytics.
Responsibilities
- Lead the integration of business systems into Microsoft Fabric and OneLake
- Design and build end-to-end data pipelines across multiple source systems
- Develop and maintain robust API and data integration patterns
- Work across structured and unstructured data sources, ensuring consistency and quality
- Collaborate with Data Engineers and stakeholders to align integration with reporting needs
- Improve existing integrations – performance, reliability, and scalability
- Support the design of a modern data architecture aligned to Fabric best practice
- Document data flows, integrations, and architecture clearly
Experience Required
- Proven experience implementing Microsoft Fabric in a production environment
- Strong background in integrating multiple systems (ERP, CRM, SaaS platforms, etc.)
- Experience building data pipelines using Azure tools (Data Factory, Synapse, or Fabric equivalents)
- Solid understanding of data modelling and lakehouse concepts
- Strong SQL and data transformation capability
- Experience working with APIs, ETL/ELT processes, and data ingestion patterns
- Comfortable working in a hands-on delivery role, not just design
Desirable
- Experience with event-driven or real-time data integration
- Exposure to data governance and data quality frameworks
- Experience working in a scaling or transforming environment
What Success Looks Like
- Core systems fully integrated into Fabric with reliable, automated data flows
- Clear, well-structured data model supporting reporting and analytics
- Reduced manual data handling and improved data accuracy
- A scalable foundation that supports future growth and AI use cases
