Logistics Supervisor

Gloucester – Fulltime – Days - Permanent – Salary up to £36,650

Our client, a leading manufacturer, is hiring a Logistics Supervisor to lead warehouse and stores operations, ensuring efficient, safe, and accurate logistics performance that supports production and delivery.

What you’ll do

• Supervise day-to-day logistics operations, including goods in/out, inventory, and internal movements
• Lead, develop, and motivate a logistics team to meet Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People targets
• Oversee stock accuracy, ERP utilisation, and adherence to SOPs
• Drive continuous improvement and maintain excellent 5S and HSE standards
• Conduct performance reviews, set objectives, and foster a positive, accountable team culture

What we’re looking for

• Proven supervisory experience in logistics, stores, or warehouse management (manufacturing preferred)
• Strong understanding of ERP systems (IFS experience an advantage)
• Excellent knowledge of inventory control, shipping procedures, and warehouse safety
• Confident leader with strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
• Motivational approach to team management and performance delivery
