Lead Electrical Engineer

Worcester | Hybrid (3 days office / 2 days home)

Up to £55,000 + Benefits | Full-Time, Permanent

We're looking for a hands-on Lead Electrical Engineer with strong experience in control panel wiring, electrical systems, and team supervision. This is a key role supporting the build, test, and fault-finding of industrial control systems, while leading a small team of Controls Technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support technicians to ensure high-quality, on-time work
• Install, wire, and test control panels and systems
• Calibrate sensors/load cells and download PLC software
• Create and maintain test procedures and electrical drawings (AutoCAD)
• Liaise with project and production teams to meet build schedules
• Monitor stock and support R&D on new equipment builds

What You’ll Need:

• HNC in Electrical/Controls Engineering or similar
• Strong skills in panel wiring, electrical fault-finding, and instrumentation
• Knowledge of BS7671 18th Edition regulations
• Experience with AutoCAD and electrical documentation
• Good leadership, organisation, and communication skills
