Warehouse, Logistics & Procurement Manager

On-site – Stourbridge – Monday to Friday (40 hours) £45,000–£55,000 + benefits

Our client, a leading manufacturing and distribution organisation, is hiring a Warehouse, Logistics & Procurement Manager to lead end-to-end material flow, stock accuracy, supplier performance, and on-time delivery. This hands-on role drives operational excellence and cost optimisation while supporting strategic objectives. Leadership remit across warehouse, logistics & procurement; own KPIs and process improvement; collaborate directly with senior leadership; stable weekday pattern.


What you’ll do

  • Oversee goods-in, storage, picking, packing, and despatch with strong housekeeping and safety standards.
  • Set, monitor, and improve KPIs for productivity, accuracy, and safety.
  • Lead, train, and develop warehouse teams to consistent high performance.
  • Manage inbound/outbound transport; coordinate delivery schedules; negotiate freight rates.
  • Ensure import/export compliance and documentation accuracy.
  • Own procurement: maintain approved supplier list, source competitively, and negotiate contracts.
  • Manage POs to align deliveries with production schedules; track supplier performance.
  • Oversee inventory accuracy via cycle counts/audits; set stock policies and reorder levels.
  • Ensure accurate transactions on the ERP/MRP system; provide reliable stock data for planning.
  • Lead continuous improvement to drive efficiency, cost reduction, and performance.

You’ll work closely with Production Planning, Operations and Finance, plus transport providers and customers, to guarantee material availability and on-time delivery. Reporting into senior leadership, you’ll play a key role in meeting budget and performance targets.


What we’re looking for

  • Proven management experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain.
  • Strong procurement, stock management, and supplier relationship skills.
  • Competent with ERP/MRP systems and MS Office.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication.
  • Solid knowledge of Health & Safety and compliance in warehouse/logistics.
