About the Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Design Engineer to join an expanding team within the New Product Development department. This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic and innovative environment, contributing to the development of cutting-edge products.

As part of a highly skilled engineering team, you will have the autonomy to innovate, whilst being supported when needed.

What You’ll Do:

• Research and develop new product ideas and methods.
• Improve existing products and processes.
• Create new designs and amend existing ones using Solidworks in a PDM environment.
• Create 2D drawings, BOMs, and ECRs while maintaining accurate engineering documentation.
• Assist in managing projects through their full design life cycle.
• Use Solidworks simulations (FEA) and produce relevant reports.
• Produce product renders and animations for marketing purposes.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards.

What We’re Looking For:

• Solidworks experience is essential
• Strong interest in industrial product design.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to meet demanding deadlines.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Desirable Experience:

• Knowledge of pump systems, pipework, and fluid technology.
• Background in R&D or New Product Development (NPD).
• Experience with Solidworks PDM (Product Data Management).
