Overview £60-70K base plus car and realistic £110 OTE
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Director to join our UK management team and drive the future growth of our market leading, specialist construction business.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in B2B construction sales (wet leisure sector preferred), exceptional leadership abilities, and a proven track record of managing successful sales strategies.
This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent analysis skills who seeks an autonomous position. You will work with an established network of leading architects and main contractors to achieve contract sales of £6m per annum over circa 20-30 high value projects.
This is a highly successful and established business which has a family culture but which due to a recent buy out, is now part of a larger multi-national conglomerate. This offers longer term career growth if the successful person wishes to pursue that route.
Sales will be undertaken nationally and some occasional travel may be required.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company objectives.
- Lead, and manage the sales function, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.
- Maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Utilise internal CRM's for tracking sales performance, forecasting, and reporting.
- Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to align sales efforts with overall business goals.
- Conduct regular pipeline review sessions to identify cross selling opportunities with other sales teams within the business group.
- Monitor own performance, reporting to the CEO.
Skills
- Proven management experience in a construction sales environment.
- Strong background in B2B sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Proficiency in CRM systems for effective sales management.
- Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Exceptional leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire colleagues
