Business Development Executive (Full-Time, Remote)

Salary: £35,000 + commission

Location: Fully remote. (UK based only)

Hours: Flexible

Holiday: 25 days + bank holidays

We’re looking for a commercially minded, people‑focused Business Development Executive to help grow a fast‑moving digital qualitative research business. You’ll manage outreach, nurture leads, book demos, and support the wider commercial team in building a strong, predictable pipeline.

This is a hands‑on role within a small, specialist, fully remote team. You’ll have the autonomy to shape your approach, the flexibility to work the hours that suit you, and the opportunity to progress quickly.

⭐ What You’ll Do

  • Conduct targeted outreach via LinkedIn, email, and phone.
  • Follow up on inbound leads, quotes, and warm opportunities.
  • Book and manage client demos with senior commercial support.
  • Build and maintain a well‑qualified pipeline.
  • Add new high‑potential contacts weekly and explore emerging sectors.
  • Re‑engage lapsed clients and nurture ongoing relationships.
  • Attend industry conferences to gather leads.
  • Keep CRM data clean and up to date.

⭐ What You’ll Bring

  • Some understanding of the market research sector — ideally qualitative research, online communities, or experience within a research agency (preferred, not essential).
  • Business sales experience, including outreach, lead nurturing, and supporting or running demos.
  • Confidence speaking with experienced researchers and articulating value clearly.
  • A commercially minded approach and comfort managing the full sales cycle.
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
  • Resilience, adaptability, and a willingness to iterate your approach.
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail.
  • A proactive, self‑motivated approach to remote work.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Pipedrive) and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • A reliable internet connection
  • You must be UK‑based with full right to work.
  • Preference for candidates in the South East.
