I am recruiting for a ACCA/ACA, qualified accountant to join an international media services business based near London Bridge, on a hybrid working basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting financial reporting processes.

Reporting to the Director of Financial Accounting and working in a small team, you will be responsible producing the financial accounts for a £320m t/o UK entity within the larger Group. You will also reconcile intercompany accounts for a number of other countries, liaising with the Country or Regional Accountants to resolve queries.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Assisting in the completion of statutory accounts.
• Managing balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Intercompany reconciliations for more than 80 countries.
• Supporting senior finance team members and internal clients with finance-related analysis and information.
• Handling VAT returns and ensuring timely submissions.
• Maintain accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with recognised accounting standards.
• Reconcile accounts regularly to ensure data integrity across all financial records.
