About the Opportunity

Our client is one of Canada's most established consumer services companies, serving over one million customers nationwide and backed by a leading global institutional investor. They are making significant investments to modernize their analytics infrastructure and elevate the role data plays in driving enterprise decisions.

Reporting to the Director of Data Strategy & Analytics, you will own the enterprise analytics layer, lead a team of analysts and developers, and directly shape how senior leadership understands and acts on business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of data analysts and developers, setting technical direction and driving team capabilities.
• Own the enterprise analytics layer, designing scalable dimensional models and harmonized KPIs for executive reporting.
• Partner with business leaders to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that influence operational decisions.
• Champion data governance, quality standards, and documentation to ensure trusted reporting across the organization.
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI and modern cloud tooling within the Azure ecosystem to automate processes and surface deeper insights.

What You Bring

• Deep expertise in SQL, Python, dimensional modelling, and building scalable semantic data models in enterprise environments.
• Experience leading and mentoring analytics teams with a track record of elevating technical talent.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI and Azure cloud data platforms (Data Lake, Fabric, Synapse, or Databricks).
• Proven ability to partner with senior stakeholders and deliver insights that drive measurable business outcomes.
• A builder mindset with comfort establishing processes from the ground up in Agile, high-volume, data-intensive environments.
