As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a key role in sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent required to support Clarity’s growth. As a member of our People & Culture Team, you’ll drive our talent acquisition strategy while staying informed about market trends, championing a world-class candidate experience, and strengthening our employer brand.

What You’ll Do:

Talent Acquisition:
- Partner with hiring managers to understand current and future staffing needs
- Write compelling job descriptions collaboratively with hiring managers
- Source active and passive candidates via headhunting, job boards, LinkedIn, referrals and recruitment events
- Use creative outreach methods – yes, even personalized videos – to engage top talent
- Review resumes, phone screen and interview candidates to assess skills, experience and cultural fit
- Build and nurture a talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs
- Maintain strong candidate communication to ensure an outstanding recruitment experience
- Schedule interviews and ensure that evaluations are complete
- Complete background and reference checks
- Assist in onboarding coordination and new hire training schedules
- Share market insights with internal teams to inform talent strategy

People & Culture Support:
- Support onboarding efforts to ensure a smooth start for new hires
- Coordinate employee setup, communications and first day/first week logistics

Additional:
- Acting as back-up vacation coverage for administrative duties
- Willingness to support ad hoc internal projects as time permits
What You’ll Need
- A diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
- Strong communication and storytelling skills – you know how to represent a brand and engage candidates
- 2-3 years of recruitment experience
- Experience working with remote or hybrid teams
- Self-motivation, a sense of urgency and a results-driven mindset
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Solution-oriented with demonstrated critical thinking skills
- Strong judgment and the ability to handle confidential information
- Proficiency with Office365 with a willingness to learn tools (eg. LinkedIn Recruiter, ZoomInfo and DropboxSign)
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (an asset)
- Understanding of finance & accounting roles (an asset)
Create a foundation 3-MONTHS into your role:
- You have driven the hiring of at least two Clarity employees
- You have a strong understanding of Clarity’s culture fit - what works and doesn’t work
- You are able to effectively share Clarity’s story in the market
- You have built strong relationships with the leadership team, sales team, and recruitment team
- You have a strong understanding of the recruitment agency landscape, our competitors and have started to identify “top talent” to nurture
- You are starting to partner closely with marketing to provide ideas on how to elevate our brand image in the market
- You are able to bring a shortlist of 2-3 candidates for active roles and manage them through a recruitment cycle
