About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Interim Controller to lead our client's finance function during a critical period of transition. The successful candidate will bring a balance of strategic insight and hands-on execution, stepping in quickly to address operational inefficiencies, strengthen team leadership, and improve the financial reporting process. Core Responsibilities

  • Lead all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and timely, accurate month-end and year-end closes
  • Resolve inefficiencies in accounts payable and financial reporting processes
  • Strengthen vendor relationships and ensure timely payments
  • Partner with senior leadership to develop financial strategies, provide insights, and recommend initiatives that support business growth
  • Mentor and guide the finance team, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Manage relationships with auditors, banks, vendors, and regulatory bodies to ensure transparency and compliance
  • Utilize Microsoft Business Central for reporting and financial operations; identify opportunities to improve processes and system efficiency


Key Requirements

  • CPA designation is required
  • Proven success in senior finance leadership roles, ideally within complex, multi-stakeholder organizations
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Business Central is mandatory
  • Track record of stabilizing finance functions during periods of transition or change
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work hands-on in fast-moving, high-pressure environments
