About the Opportunity

Our client is an open-source identity security company serving individuals, teams, and enterprises worldwide, with a product line spanning password management, secrets management, and passkey technology. The organization operates a global, fully remote team and is well-capitalized, backed by a significant growth investment from institutional private equity.

The business runs a freemium model with free and paid tiers across Personal, Teams, and Enterprise, running self-serve and sales-led motions in parallel. That creates a data-rich GTM environment where Finance is a real strategic partner, not a reporting function. This Manager, FP&A role is newly created, sitting at the intersection of Finance, Sales, and Marketing, and reports to the Director of FP&A.

The role owns revenue forecasting and GTM analytics, working directly in the data layer (SQL, data warehouse, BI tools) to validate pipeline, conversion, and subscription growth numbers at the source rather than from rolled-up reports. It also carries real Board and PE sponsor reporting responsibility, work that puts this person in front of the CFO and executive team regularly.

This is a build-from-scratch mandate. The function has never existed at this organization before, so there's real room to shape how the company measures its GTM engine, working alongside a lean, senior finance team with latitude to expand scope as the role proves out.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Forecasting & Analytics

  • Build and maintain the company's SaaS revenue forecast model, integrating ARR, bookings, retention, and expansion signals
  • Develop and reconcile bottoms-up and top-down views of the business, defending assumptions under senior and Board-level scrutiny
  • Own the weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecast cycle from data pull through executive presentation

GTM Partnership & Commercial Insight

  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Operations to analyze self-serve and sales-led funnel performance, including conversion rates, deal velocity, and CAC/LTV by channel and segment
  • Translate pipeline and funnel findings into clear recommendations for GTM planning, capacity, and channel investment
  • Serve as a financial voice in GTM planning conversations as the function matures

Board & PE Investor Reporting

  • Contribute to Board of Directors packages, including performance summaries and KPI narratives
  • Support PE sponsor reporting cadences and ad hoc diligence requests, meeting the analytical bar expected in an institutional PE environment

Data & Technical Ownership

  • Write SQL queries and work directly in the data warehouse to validate numbers at the source
  • Build and maintain dashboards in Tableau, Looker, or similar BI tools that give GTM leadership real-time visibility
  • Identify measurement gaps across the GTM organization and help build the roadmap to close them

What You Bring

  • 3–5+ years in FP&A or financial analysis, ideally at a high-growth SaaS or tech company, with exposure to revenue forecasting or GTM finance
  • Hands-on SQL skills and comfort working directly in a data warehouse rather than from pre-built reports
  • Proficiency in a BI tool such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI
  • Proven ability to build and defend bottoms-up and top-down forecast models with senior stakeholders
  • Commercial fluency in SaaS metrics: pipeline coverage, conversion, CAC/LTV, retention, and expansion
  • Comfortable building process and measurement infrastructure in an environment where it doesn't yet exist

Nice to Have

  • MBA or equivalent quantitative background
  • CPA, CFA, or similar designation
  • Prior experience in a PE- or VC-backed company
  • Python or R for data manipulation and scenario modeling
  • Experience with CRM or revenue intelligence tools
