Manager of IT Audit:

  • Lead the planning and scoping of IT audit and advisory engagements, including defining objectives, key risk areas, and testing approaches across core technology domains (infrastructure, applications, security, data, and cloud).
  • Execute complex IT audits end‑to‑end, from walkthroughs and control design assessments through to detailed testing, analysis of results, and evaluation of overall control effectiveness.
  • Develop clear, risk‑based observations and practical recommendations, using sound professional judgment to challenge existing processes and propose improvements that balance control, efficiency, and business needs.
  • Prepare high‑quality audit documentation and working papers that clearly support procedures performed, evidence obtained, and conclusions reached.
  • Draft IT audit and advisory reports, synthesize key themes and issues, and present findings and recommendations to internal audit leadership and management, adapting communication for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and advisor on technology‑related projects and initiatives (e.g., system implementations, major upgrades, process redesign), providing input on risk, controls, and governance.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and third‑party providers on IT‑related audit activities, reviewing their work for quality and alignment with internal expectations, and helping streamline information sharing.
  • Support ongoing tracking and follow‑up of IT audit issues and control gaps, and contribute to continuous improvement of IT audit methodologies, tools, and processes, including opportunities to leverage data analytics and automation.



Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in IT audit, IT risk, cybersecurity, or related fields.
  • Professional certification such as CISA, CIA, or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of IT general controls, application controls, and relevant frameworks and standards (e.g., COBIT, NIST, ISO, ITIL).
  • Proven ability to lead complex engagements, influence stakeholders, and translate technical issues into clear business impacts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of producing high‑quality reports and presentations.
