About the Opportunity

Our client is a high-growth, private equity-backed infrastructure company operating across North America and internationally. They develop and deliver large-scale capital projects for some of the world's most prominent brands.

This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-paced, entrepreneurial finance team and take meaningful ownership of project-level financial management from development through to construction completion. If you thrive in ambiguity, bring an analytical mindset, and want your work to directly influence multi-billion dollar decisions, this role offers exceptional scope and visibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the finance lead on large-scale capital projects, building and maintaining financial models that support budgeting, scenario analysis, and decision-making.
  • Analyze construction cost data, identify trends and variances, and present actionable insights to senior leadership and cross-functional project teams.
  • Oversee project debt activities including compliance, drawdowns, and cash flow forecasting.
  • Manage project change control processes and produce clear, timely financial reports and forecasts.
  • Partner closely with business unit teams to build trust-based relationships and drive financial accountability across the project lifecycle.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A or project finance, ideally within a capital-intensive, high-growth, or infrastructure environment.
  • CPA designation (or equivalent); MBA or CFA considered a strong asset.
  • Advanced Excel skills (macros, dynamic modelling) and hands-on experience with ERP and FP&A platforms such as NetSuite or Vena.
  • Proven ability to build financial models from the ground up and communicate complex financial data clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in ambiguity, push back constructively, and continuously improve processes and tools — including a comfort with leveraging AI in day-to-day finance workflows.
