About the Opportunity

Join our client's dynamic team as a People Analyst, where you'll directly influence financial decision-making by delivering insightful people cost analysis and forecasts. Reporting to senior finance leadership, this role offers the chance to work within a collaborative environment focused on innovation and process enhancement. You will interact with global teams, providing key insights for monthly business reviews and strategic planning. Key Responsibilities

- Perform monthly variance analysis on people-related costs, providing insightful commentary.

- Oversee global payroll and intercompany journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

- Model and validate sales commissions and support bonus forecasts.

- Develop and refine Excel models for people cost budgeting and forecasting.

- Prepare audit documentation and contribute to internal controls and compliance efforts.

- Advise on tax-related matters, focusing on payroll data segmentation.

- Improve reporting processes and automation for compensation and intercompany billing.


What You Bring

- Strong core accounting knowledge, including journal entries and reconciliations.

- Experience with compensation modeling and budgeting for wages and bonuses.

- Audit experience with a capability to prepare schedules and documentation.

- Familiarity with global intercompany accounting and financial analysis.

- Advanced Excel skills; adaptable to systems like SAP and Salesforce.

- CPA designation strongly preferred; open to candidates nearing completion.

- 3–5+ years of accounting experience, ideally with exposure to international payroll/tax.

- Demonstrated maturity and discretion in handling sensitive data.

- Excellent interpersonal and cross-functional communication skills.

- Commercial acumen with an ability to understand the “why” behind numbers.
