About the Opportunity

Our client is one of Canada's leading sleep health providers, with a national network of clinics spanning multiple provinces. The business has grown steadily through acquisitions, bringing new clinic brands under one operating platform. That growth has built a large and varied lease portfolio, from independent mom-and-pop landlords to major corporate REITs.

This 6-month Lease & Contracts Administrator contract owns the full lease lifecycle across that portfolio. Every month you'll help the leadership team decide what to do with upcoming leases: renew, extend, or close. You'll then carry those decisions through with landlords. Between cycles, you'll act as the main landlord contact for clinic facility issues so clinics keep running without interruption.

This role suits someone who reads leases closely, enjoys a good negotiation, and wants a broad, hands-on role across a national footprint. It's fully remote, and it gives you direct exposure to operations, finance, and senior decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities

• Review upcoming lease expiries and prepare terms, options, and key clauses for monthly lease review meetings
• Support decisions to renew, extend, or close each location, and identify what needs to be raised with landlords
• Lead landlord communication and negotiation once a decision is made, through to executed agreements
• Read and audit leases and amendments to confirm terms, dates, and obligations are accurate
• Act as the landlord point of contact for facility issues such as broken windows or flooding, and drive resolution so clinics can operate as needed
• Manage relationships with a mix of independent landlords and large corporate REITs across Canada
• Partner with the Finance team on rent schedules, and upload and maintain lease data in the system
• Build and maintain Excel trackers, or automate within the lease system, to keep the portfolio visible and current

What You Bring

• Experience in lease administration, contract administration, or commercial property management
• Strong lease comprehension, with the ability to find critical terms, options, and obligations quickly
• Proven communication and negotiation skills with landlords, from individual owners to corporate REITs
• Strong Excel skills, or experience automating processes within a lease or property management system
• Close attention to detail and accuracy across a high volume of documents
• Comfortable managing multiple locations and priorities at the same time, working remotely

Nice to Have

• Experience with a multi-site, national portfolio (healthcare, retail, or clinic networks)
• Exposure to lease administration software
• Experience supporting rent schedules or lease accounting with a Finance team
