Lead Project Manager Data Centers

We are P&V Group and we are looking for an experienced Lead Project Manager Data Centers to play a pivotal role in the further development of this strategic business line.

This is an interesting opportunity for a senior project professional who combines technical credibility, operational leadership, and the ability to bring structure to a fast-evolving environment. You will join a growing organization with strong entrepreneurial roots, where your impact will be tangible, visible, and instrumental to future success.

About P&V Group

P&V Group is the largest total solution provider for electrical panels in the Benelux. From 5 locations in Belgium and the Netherlands, we offer end-to-end solutions for designing, building, maintaining and upgrading distribution and control panels through our companies P&V Panels, EBB, Cirqui and eReM. In addition, we support our customers with expertise in Building Management Systems, industrial automation and maintenance.

Together, we build reliable, innovative and future-oriented solutions for customers in sectors including industry, infrastructure, buildings and OEM. We do this with technical expertise, entrepreneurship and many years of experience, but above all with dedicated colleagues who make a difference every day. Our ambition? To always stay One Step Ahead.

Our opportunity

As Lead Project Manager Data Centers, you will be entrusted with the coordination and delivery of complex projects within a fast-growing and strategically important domain. You will act as the critical interface between customers, internal stakeholders, and on-site execution, ensuring that projects are delivered with discipline, transparency, and operational excellence.

This role goes beyond classical project follow-up. It calls for a senior professional who can create alignment, build confidence with customers, and strengthen internal ways of working. This position also offers the opportunity to shape, structure, and elevate the function from within.

You will be expected to combine strategic perspective with a hands-on presence, particularly in the most critical project phases. In doing so, you will directly contribute to customer satisfaction, execution quality, and the further maturation of the organization.

Key responsibilities

You will lead and coordinate data center projects across their full lifecycle, with a clear focus on planning, delivery, communication, and quality assurance.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • serving as the primary link between the customer and the internal organization
  • coordinating project planning and follow-up across internal and external stakeholders
  • maintaining a strong on-site presence at data center locations, especially during key execution and testing phases
  • supporting both installation-related and maintenance-driven projects
  • ensuring robust documentation, reporting, administration, and project file management
  • safeguarding deadlines, execution quality, budgetary control, and contractual commitments
  • relieving operational teams by taking ownership of the broader coordination and surrounding project activities
  • being closely involved in the final delivery phase, particularly during the last three months before handover, when physical presence on-site during testing is critical
  • contributing to the further development of project management processes, structure, and tools

Your profile

We are looking for a senior and grounded professional with the authority, maturity, and communication skills to operate successfully in a demanding and multidimensional environment.

You bring:

  • substantial experience in complex technical project environments
  • the level of an Industrial Engineer or Civil Engineer, with focus on electrical engineering, HVAC, BMS, switchgear manufacturing, or industrial electrical installations or equivalent through experience
  • a broad technical understanding, ideally with exposure to electrical systems and multidisciplinary project settings
  • hands-on credibility and the willingness to be present on-site where needed
  • strong experience in planning, administration, customer communication, and structured project follow-up
  • sound knowledge of contract management
  • the ability to quickly grasp technical and operational issues and translate them into clear, pragmatic actions
  • excellent command of English; knowledge of Dutch is a big plus, but not essential
  • you are eligible to work in Belgium at the moment of application

Beyond technical background and experience, your communication style will be decisive. You are someone who brings people together, communicates with clarity and confidence, and creates calm, structure, and forward momentum. You understand how to operate in environments that are still evolving, and you are energized by the opportunity to help shape them.

Why this role stands out

This position offers far more than project ownership alone. It is an opportunity to help build a function, define structure, and leave a lasting mark on a strategic growth domain.

You will join a mid-sized organization that combines entrepreneurial speed with the backing of a larger group. As the business continues to evolve, there is significant room to improve processes, strengthen collaboration, and raise the level of professionalization. For the right person, this creates a compelling platform to contribute at both executional and organizational level.

Practical scope

Projects are primarily located in and around Brussels, with additional activity around Antwerp. Presence in our HQ in Limburg is only occasionally required, mainly for internal alignment and communication.

In the first phase, the role will focus on projects in Belgium and the Netherlands. Occasional remote work is possible, although the nature of the position requires a strong site presence and close involvement in the field.

Offer

The successful candidate can expect a competitive executive-level package, including:

  • a competitive gross monthly salary
  • a comprehensive benefits package, including a company car
  • the opportunity to take on a visible and high-impact role within a strategic growth area
