Senior Business Analyst & Integration / Low-Code Developer

About us

SCOPTIS helps companies simplify, improve and automate their supply chain and business processes. With over 35 years of experience in logistics, we understand the complexity behind ERP, WMS, transport systems, portals, data flows and integrations.

We do not believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. Instead, we work closely with customers to understand how they work today, where processes can improve and how digitalisation can create real value.

We build these solutions with Lobster, a powerful no-code/low-code platform for data integration, process orchestration and automation. You will join a small, experienced team of business analysts, developers and Lobster specialists.

What you will do

As a Senior Business Analyst & Integration / Low-Code Developer, you work at the intersection of business, processes and technology.

You will be involved from the start of customer projects. Together with the customer and the SCOPTIS team, you analyse current processes, identify improvement opportunities and translate them into practical digital solutions.

Your role will include:

  • understanding customer processes, challenges and needs;
  • translating business requirements into functional and technical solutions;
  • designing integrations between systems such as ERP, WMS, transport systems, portals or other applications;
  • building and configuring solutions in the Lobster no-code/low-code platform;
  • working with JSON, XML, REST APIs and system-to-system communication;
  • validating whether solutions are scalable, reliable and ready for customer testing;
  • supporting junior developers in their technical growth;
  • contributing to demos, proof of concepts and pre-sales discussions.

You will not simply “build what is written”. You will be at the table from day one, helping customers rethink their processes and showing what is technically possible.

Who you are

You combine business understanding with a strong technical foundation as a developer. You enjoy talking to customers, but also like turning ideas into concrete solutions.

You probably recognise yourself in this:

  • You have around 3 to 5 years of programming experience, ideally in full-stack, integration or application development.
  • You understand software development, APIs, data structures and system integration.
  • You can explain technical topics clearly and practically.
  • You enjoy analyzing business processes and asking the right questions.
  • You can challenge customers constructively.
  • You are interested in low-code/no-code platforms, no prior Lobster knowledge is required.
  • Experience with Java-based tools is a must.
  • Experience with integration platforms or low-code environments is a plus.
  • Experience in logistics, supply chain, ERP, WMS or transport processes is a plus.
  • You are structured, hands-on and solution-oriented.
  • You speak Dutch and English fluently.

This role could be a great fit if you are currently a developer, integration consultant, technical analyst, solution architect or low-code developer and want to move closer to the business side.

What is in it for you

At SCOPTIS, you will get the opportunity to grow into a key role with real impact.

You can expect:

  • a varied role combining business analysis, solution design and development;
  • challenging projects in supply chain, logistics and data integration;
  • the chance to become an expert in the Lobster platform;
  • close collaboration with experienced specialists;
  • room to coach junior developers and help shape the team;
  • a flexible working environment with office work, customer visits and remote work;
  • a stable company with deep logistics expertise and an entrepreneurial mindset;
  • the opportunity to work on multiple projects, without being placed full-time at one customer;
  • an attractive salary package, with the choice of a company car or an alternative package;
  • benefits such as meal vouchers, group insurance, hospitalization insurance and a net allowance.

The office is located in the Hasselt region. Ideally, you live within a reasonable distance of Hasselt, Leuven, or the broader Limburg area.

What to do next?

Do you enjoy solving business problems with technology? Do you like understanding how companies really work and turning that insight into smart digital solutions?

Then we would love to hear from you.

Send us your CV and let’s have an informal conversation about the role, the team and where you could make an impact at SCOPTIS.
