Role Summary

The Senior Manager will lead statistical activities across a broad range of areas for the business, serving as both an internal statistical expert and team leader.

This is a fully remote role within a mid-sized CRO with an exceptional industry reputation.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of high caliber Biostatisticians
• Be client point of contact on complex or large projects
• Full budgetary and resource accountability
• Working with the department head, contribute to department-level strategic direction
• Represent biostatistics cross-functionally
• Serve as statistical SME to other company-wide functional areas
• Represent the business externally – at regulatory meetings, conference events, investigator meetings, etc.
• Lead department-level process improvement efforts
• Accountable for training and development ideas

Experience required:

• PhD, or Masters with supplementary experience
• Demonstrable success in team leadership and management
• Strong problem-solving, effective time management and strategic thinking
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral, and a keen ability to communication statistical concepts to non-statistically minded individuals.

Salary based on experience: $160,000 to $220,000
