Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Fullstack Engineer to join its fast-growing, venture-backed technology team in New York City. The ideal candidate will bring 6+ years of experience in fullstack development using Python, React, and TypeScript, with a proven track record of building and shipping production-ready software in dynamic startup environments.

Key Responsibilities 

• Own and deliver high-quality production code across both backend and frontend 
• Architect and iterate on complex product features that drive measurable impact 
• Collaborate directly with the CEO, engineers, and product/design team members in a hands-on, fast-paced environment 
• Make fast, data-informed technical decisions that align with product and user goals 
• Introduce and champion best practices, tools, and ideas to elevate the product and engineering culture 

Qualifications & Experience 

• 6+ years of fullstack development experience, ideally in startup environments 
• Strong proficiency in Python for backend and React with TypeScript for frontend 
• Track record of shipping software in production environments across the full tech stack 
• Minimum 3 years of tenure at a Series A or Series B startup 
• Self-starter with the ability to navigate ambiguity and take ownership without micromanagement 
• Team-first mindset with a strong bias for action and continuous improvement 
• Located in or willing to relocate to the NYC metro area with availability to work onsite 2–3 days per week 

Preferred Skills 

• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, CloudFront, and Elastic Beanstalk 
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test-driven development practices 
• Background in software architecture, scalability, and system design 
• Experience in a senior IC or technical leadership capacity
