Package: Up to €100k base + bonus (depending on experience)

THE ROLE:  

The primary function of this position is to develop and manage European accounts independently and in conjunction with other Sales Representatives. The role reports to the Director of Sales and Marketing based out of the US.


RESPONSIBILITIES:  

·      Develop strategic sales plans to successfully penetrate all target market segments and develop new market segments to accommodate the corporate goals.

·      Work both independently and in conjunction with the current European Sales Representative within the framework laid out by the Director of Sales and Marketing to optimize market penetration within designated business segments and/or geographic regions

·      Identify leads and submit sales strategy along with expense budget to Director of Sales and Marketing for approval.

·      Manage accounts and assist in the development of all customers and markets managed by Sales Representatives or Distribution. 

·      Development of distribution and representation channels as needed to further penetrate international markets in Europe and other international locations.

·      Develop a strong relationship with all levels of management within accounts to ensure complete product knowledge and product penetration is achieved. 

·      Travel to customers and potential new customers to ensure customer needs are met and continued product education.

·      Communicate production and delivery lead time constraints to customer as set by production and maintain open communication to ensure customer expectations are met.

·      Lead all customer complaints to ensure a timely and successful resolution. Update Director of Sales and Marketing on all communications and make recommendation on resolution strategy to insure Director of Sales and Marketing and ISO Quality Council.

·      Assist Finance with credit terms and collections as requested.

·      Prepare monthly Order Forecast compared to Fiscal Sales Budget and report updated order trends to sales and production management. Yearly prepare Fiscal Year sales budget for new and current business.

·      Evaluate new markets, products, and competition, report findings regularly to sales and marketing.

·      Make recommendations of new products and product options to Marketing to be reviewed and approved by Management Team to be developed in accordance to the New Product Process.

·      Assist Marketing and other departments on the development of marketing materials, manuals and technical publications.

·      Represent the company at all trade shows, expos and industry events as approved by Director of Sales and Marketing.

·      Monitor, investigate, evaluate and report on competitive products in all target market areas.

·      Develop price quotes, credit terms and sales contracts. Submit for approval to CEO and Director of Sales and Marketing.

·      Regularly prepare personal expense report and submit to Director of Sales and Marketing for approval and processing.

·      Actively utilize the ACT Sales Management program to maintain customer contact information, track sales leads, update customer account activity and daily schedule.

·      Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.


QUALIFICATIONS:  

·      Proven Sales Expertise: Demonstrated success in the composite material market across Europe, with a strong focus on industries such as marine, bus, and rail.

·      Revenue Generation: Consistently driving annual sales revenues in the range of $2 million.

·      Technical Communication Skills: Ability to effectively convey technical information to customers regarding product manufacturing processes.

·      Dynamic Personality: Charismatic, energetic self-starter with a passion for sales and customer engagement.

·      Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Development, or a related field, complemented by over 3 years of experience in product sales.

·      Willingness to Travel: Open to travel up to 75% as needed to meet client needs and drive business growth.
