Position:        Commercial Account Manager

Location:        London, UK (hybrid, 1 day a week office based)  

Package:         £65-75k base + double OTE (up to £150k total), benefits

The role:


As a Commercial Account Manager, your primary objective will be to drive revenue growth within existing business portfolio by expanding client partnerships through upselling and cross-selling innovative technology solutions. You will take ownership of strategic group expansions, working with organisations connected horizontally or vertically to our existing customers, ensuring seamless integration and growth.

 

Responsibilities:

 

·      You will also be responsible for developing tailored, value-driven sales proposals and managing the entire sales lifecycle, including contract negotiations.

·      You will partner with Client Success Managers to uncover upselling and cross-selling opportunities.

·      You will collaborate closely with Client Success Managers to identify opportunities, develop a robust pipeline, and navigate strategic sales processes. The successful candidate will be able to present the value of our solutions to senior stakeholders, helping clients to achieve their marketing goals while meeting or exceeding productivity and revenue targets.

·      You will leverage your knowledge of our solutions and digital marketing best practices to deliver impactful recommendations that align with customer objectives.

·      Be responsible for building a sustainable pipeline for group expansions, ensuring that our solutions become an integral part of client organisations.

 

Requirements:

 

·      A track record of 3-6 years in SaaS/software sales, ideally within the Marketing Technology, Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), Marketing Automation Platforms/Omnichannel Marketing Platforms, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Systems, Email Marketing Software, Integrated E-commerce Platforms, or Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning etc.

·      A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas, with a strong ability to upsell and cross-sell

·      Experience in overlay sales and collaborative roles

·      Familiarity with digital marketing, CRM, or marketing automation platforms

·      Client management, negotiation, and communication skills

·      Strong technological skills, including the ability to deliver full product

·      Excellent time management skills, positive attitude and a “love of selling”

·      The ability to discuss technical topics such as data integration or XML APIs

·      Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom

·      Fluency in English
