Position: Sales Manager, DACH

Location: Hybrid, 2-3 days per week in the office Offenburg/Karlsruhe/Mannheim; Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany

Package: Negotiable - c. €100k OTE (70/30 split), benefits, 30 days annual leave

Our client is a successful spin-off venture from a well-established personalization and optimisation software vendor with nearly 500 clients across all 5 continents. The client is a technology hub and software reseller growing super-fast and making a significant impact in the Marketing Technology sector in Germany. The core product can be utilized for any type of text in online stores, including product descriptions, category texts, emails, and blog posts. With seamless integrations with platforms such as Shopware, Shopify, the Apollon PIM system, Magento, and more, the solution integrates effortlessly into existing processes, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.

 

The company is financially backed by a well-known and established investor. Some of the flagship customers include Decathlon and REWE.

 

THE ROLE:  

 

We are seeking a commercially minded and impactful, yet humble and people-driven, Sales Manager (m/f/d) to join our client’s team. As the new business developer, you will take a hands-on approach to building and scaling the SaaS business with AI-driven Conversion Optimization solutions. You will help to rapidly scale the German-speaking technology SaaS business. The ideal candidate will already be a successful sales professional with a passion for getting things done and thriving in a fast-paced environment.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:  

 

•      Manage sales relationships and closings for SMB and enterprise deals within the eCommerce, Media, Pharma and Manufacturing industries

•      Be responsible for the regional GTM strategy definition and implementation

•      Manage the reseller relationship for us with our Solution Partners

•      Execute key deals via onsite (when viable) and remote engagement with prospects.

•      Plan and communicate the path for growth both in a formal OKR-driven planning capacity.

•      Work closely with the Pre-sales, SDR, AE, and Marketing Manager team to align strategies and ensure cohesive execution.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:  


•      2-4 years of experience selling Enterprise SaaS solutions and managing full sales cycles.

•      Data-driven with the ability to use metrics to manage the qualitative elements of the business.

•      Possess a playbook for executing complex-level deals and know when to leverage it and when to adapt.

•      Proven track record of delivering against sales targets in the range of €400-600k p.a. with 3-6 months sales cycles and €30-100k ARR.

•      Experience with outbound sales motions and process-oriented performance, capable of fully implementing and managing your business via chosen sales methodology (preference for MEDDIC).

•      Enthusiastic about helping scale and identifying actions to substantially grow regional revenue year over year throughout DACH or Europe.

•      Experience in Performance Marketing, Analytics, Mobile, or MarTech space is a plus, but not required.

•      Fluency in English and German.

•      Ideally located in or around Offenburg/Karlsruhe/Mannheim.
