Full Stack Software Engineer

Location: Remote (United States) or Onsite/Hybrid (Client Dependent)

Employment Type: Contract or Full-Time (W2 Only)


Staffing Solutions United (SSU) is seeking a skilled and adaptable Full Stack Software Engineer to support enterprise application development initiatives across web-based and cloud-native platforms. This role requires strong proficiency in both front-end and back-end technologies, with the ability to design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.

The ideal candidate is a collaborative engineer who thrives in modern development environments and can translate business requirements into reliable, production-ready solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable full stack applications
  • Build responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces
  • Develop robust APIs and back-end services
  • Integrate applications with databases and third-party systems
  • Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security
  • Participate in code reviews and maintain best practices in software architecture
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 4+ years of full stack development experience
  • Proficiency in modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue)
  • Strong back-end development experience (Node.js, Java, Python, or .NET)
  • Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
  • Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Strong understanding of software development best practices and version control (Git)


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Familiarity with serverless architectures
  • Knowledge of authentication protocols (OAuth, SAML, JWT)
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments
  • Exposure to automated testing frameworks and performance testing tools
