Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (30-minute lunch)

Facility Size: 58-bed SNF

Compensation: $42.00 – $47.00 per hour

SSU is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a permanent opportunity in Camden, Maine. This role supports a skilled nursing population with a focus on swallowing, communication, and cognitive-linguistic therapy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and establish individualized plans of care
• Treat dysphagia, speech/language disorders, and cognitive-communication deficits
• Provide education to patients, families, and staff on swallow strategies and safety
• Maintain timely, compliant documentation and progress updates
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for care planning and discharge

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active Maine SLP license (or eligibility)
• ASHA CCC-SLP preferred
• SNF experience preferred
