We’re building a revolutionary multi-engine query platform—and we're looking for a passionate, experienced Founding Engineer to help shape it from day one. 🔧 What You’ll Be Working On:
- Architecting core systems to route queries across engines like Snowflake, DuckDB, Trino, and ClickHouse
- Designing logic to serialize and expose query engine plans for developer visibility and debugging
- Developing internal tools for automated benchmarking and performance comparisons across engines
- Building robust pipelines to ensure data integrity and consistency across multiple engines
- Designing and scaling next-generation storage layers optimized for Apache Iceberg
- Tackling distributed systems challenges to support low-latency, high-throughput workloads
🧠 What We’re Looking For:
- 6+ years of experience in backend engineering or infrastructure development
- Proficiency in Python, Rust, or C++
- Strong grasp of modern data engineering practices, cloud infrastructure, and system architecture
- A builder’s mindset and excitement about solving hard technical problems
- Bonus points for experience with:

- Query engines or compiler design
- Distributed systems and performance tuning
