Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our team at Lake Taylor Hospital. The RT will be responsible for assessing, treating, and managing patients with respiratory disorders, ensuring high-quality care and optimal patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory conditions.

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments, including oxygen therapy, nebulization, and ventilator management.

• Perform diagnostic tests such as pulmonary function tests (PFTs) and arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis.

• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

• Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions, treatments, and home care.

• Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, patient progress, and equipment usage.

• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

✔ Licensed Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) – Must meet state licensing requirements.

✔ BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain).

✔ Experience in an acute care or hospital setting is preferred.

✔ Strong clinical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

✔ Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
