Job Title: Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA)

Location: Concord, NH


Position Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to join our healthcare team in Concord, NH. In this role, you will provide high-quality care to patients while ensuring their comfort and safety. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care: Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
  • Vital Signs Monitoring: Measure and record patient vital signs, including temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and weight.
  • Patient Mobility: Help patients with ambulation, transfers, and positioning, ensuring comfort and safety.
  • Documentation: Accurately document patient care and observations, keeping detailed records of changes in patient condition and responses to care.
  • Assist with Treatments: Support the nursing team with basic medical procedures and treatments, under the direction of a registered nurse (RN) or physician.
  • Personal Hygiene and Comfort: Ensure patient comfort by assisting with meals, hygiene, and keeping living areas clean and tidy.
  • Patient Advocacy: Promote a culture of respect, dignity, and patient-centered care in all interactions with patients and their families.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Infection Control: Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, following infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. LNA certification from an accredited program.
  • Experience: Prior experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting preferred, but not required.
  • Licensing: Must have a current LNA license in New Hampshire.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to patient privacy laws.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, carry, and assist patients (up to 40 lbs).
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move for long periods.
  • Capable of bending, kneeling, and twisting.
