Job Overview
We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented ServiceNow Technical Consultant to deliver high-quality solutions on the ServiceNow platform. As a key member of our delivery team, you will configure, customize, and extend ServiceNow applications across multiple business domains, working closely with architects, project managers, and client stakeholders to turn strategic vision into technical reality. You will also have opportunities to build technical innovations, integrate with emerging technologies, and support solutioning efforts alongside our commercial teams.
Key Responsibilities
● Implement, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and modules such as CSM, SOM, FSM, SPO, SLO, and APO.
● Execute assigned build tasks with precision and timeliness, ensuring high-quality technical delivery.
● Deliver user stories and technical requirements assigned during sprints or project phases, meeting or exceeding expectations.
● Develop and maintain server-side and client-side scripts (business rules, client scripts, UI actions, policies), custom workflows, workspace experiences, and catalog items.
● Design and build integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Servers, and authentication protocols like OAuth2 and SAML.
● Review assigned tasks for technical feasibility and collaborate with team leads and architects to refine designs when necessary.
● Proactively raise issues, risks, or blockers that could impact delivery of assigned work.
● Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, demos, retrospectives) and maintain accurate task statuses.
● Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in existing ServiceNow implementations.
● Provide technical input into solution designs and help estimate the level of effort for user stories and project tasks.
● Follow ServiceNow development best practices to ensure scalable, maintainable, and performant solutions.
● Support QA and UAT processes, including unit testing, defect resolution, and producing supporting documentation.
Certifications Required
● ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
● ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist certification in at least one relevant module (e.g., CSM, SOM, FSM, SPO, SLO, APO).
Skills & Qualifications
● 2–5 years of hands-on ServiceNow development and configuration experience across enterprise projects.
● Strong understanding of ServiceNow core architecture, data model, and scripting languages (JavaScript, Glide API, HTML/CSS).
● Hands-on experience with:
○ ServiceNow Studio, Flow Designer, App Engine Studio, UI Builder, and Service Portal development.
○ Integration design using REST/SOAP APIs, OAuth2 authentication, SAML-based SSO, and MID Server architecture.
● Familiarity with Agile/Scrum project delivery methodologies.
● Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
● Ability to clearly document technical solutions and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
● Exposure to ITIL principles and service management frameworks.
● Experience working in a consulting environment or with large-scale enterprise clients.
● Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Automated Test Framework, Jira).
● Experience integrating or extending ServiceNow with ecosystem ISVs such as Logik.AI, Tenon, or working with ServiceNow's Agentic AI capabilities.
● Experience implementing ServiceNow Industry Products a plus (MCO, TSOM, TPSM, FSO).
● Certified Application Developer (CAD) - a plus.
● AI micro-certifications.
