Based in Malton, North Yorkshire, this role is ideal for ambitious mechanical graduates with a placement or any hands-on experience who want to develop their career in a fast-paced, technically challenging environment. You’ll be developing designs, conducting analyses, and providing recommendations for new and existing production.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting the design and development of mechanical components using CAD tools (Autodesk Inventor or similar).
- Producing accurate engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation.
- Collaborating across departments (procurement, production, assembly) to ensure design feasibility.
- Participating in prototype testing and performance evaluations.
- Engaging with customers and suppliers to solve technical challenges.
- Ensuring all designs comply with quality and regulatory standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001).
- Contributing to a safety-first culture and continuous improvement initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. Ideally a 2.1 or 1st Class MEng or BEng.
- Some practical or placement experience in a design, engineering, or manufacturing setting.
- Confidence using CAD software (Inventor preferred, but others welcome).
- Good understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
- A strong team player with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Enthusiasm to learn, grow, and take on real responsibility.
